Early 19th century Italian Grand tour patinated bronze figure of dancing men with cymbals, raised on breche violet and rough marble classical plinth. The dancing figure: "The follower of God Bacchus" celebrating the Bacchanalia - the rituals held in honour of Bacchus, a Greco-Roman god.
the statue is in good condtion, the marble edges show chips and dents, appropriate due to its age.
