Design Plus Gallery presents the Barcelona Table by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe from Knoll Studio. Originally designed in 1929, this iconic modernist table is composed of a square clear glass top supported by an architectural metal base. The intersecting frame creates the recognizable X-form associated with Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona collection. The thick glass top rests directly on discreet support pads positioned along the metal frame. The polished metal base displays the precise geometry and restrained ornamentation central to Mies van der Rohe’s design language. The base bears the Knoll Studio mark along with the designer’s signature, confirming its authentic Knoll production. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. The glass has visible surface scratches and wears consistent with previous usage.
