This gilt metal, glass top side table features a sculptural base of 3 arching tulips as they open to reveal an internal light. The original amber chandelier style bulbs are controlled by a standard electrical cord. The warm ambient light casts a delightful spell. Favored by iconic French designers Coco Chanel and Yves St. Laurent, this table had endured in its popularity.
The table was crafted in Italy from hand forged metal and finished with a gold leaf (gilding), topped with a round 1/4" thick glass top and distinctive leaf finial.
A remarkable find in excellent unaltered condition.
