The removable oversized chef’s hat serves as the lid, giving the piece its wonderfully whimsical sculptural character. Hand-applied painted details in black, blue, pink, and cream complement the glossy glazed ceramic body.
The reverse bears the molded “McCoy USA” mark, identifying this classic piece of American pottery. Substantial in both scale and weight at approximately 11 inches tall and 5 pounds, it makes a terrific display piece for a vintage kitchen, breakfast room, pantry, restaurant-inspired interior, or collection of mid-century American ceramics.
