Given its specific dimensions and ergonomic three-handle design, this piece is remarkably well-suited for use as a Netilat Yadayim (ritual hand-washing cup).

The porcelain is decorated with a delicate hand-colored floral transfer (Pattern C6083) against a warm cream ground. The three handles and the elegantly scalloped rim are finished in heavy, high-karat gold gilding with Rococo-style scrollwork.
