The … Read more A late twentieth-century Orrefors crystal vase from the Lancelot series, designed by Erika Lagerbielke and identified as model 4975/22. The tall clear crystal shape is defined by broad polished vertical planes and restrained geometric cutting, with a substantial lower wall and base producing pronounced optical refraction through the heavy Swedish crystal.

The vase retains its original Orrefors factory label and is additionally incised on the base “Orrefors EL 4975 22”. The initials EL correspond to designer Erika Lagerbielke, while 4975/22 identifies the documented 9.5-inch Lancelot vase model. The agreement between the form, dimensions, surviving label and engraved factory, designer and model inscription provides a complete identification.

Produced by Orrefors in Sweden, the vase reflects the disciplined geometry and clarity associated with Scandinavian Modern glass design of the late twentieth century.
