Crafted in richly aged brass, this highly decorative Byzantine ecclesiastical object combines traditional Christian symbolism with the distinctive ornamental language associated with Greek Orthodox religious art.

The suspended lamp features an elaborate openwork brass body, a crown-like upper gallery and three decorative suspension chains.
