Orton’s distinctive artistic vision. His compositions are particularly notable for their treatment of light, reflection, texture, perspective, weathering and decay, transforming everyday and forgotten objects into striking works of contemporary realism.
For 20 years, from 1979 to 1999, he was in charge of the Centre de Arte Joan Miro of the Baleares International School in Palma de Mallorca.
In 1999 he left Spain and now lives between his homes in the Catskill Mountains New York and the gulf coast of Florida.
