A rare large Elsa Peretti Thumbprint bowl for Tiffany & Co., made in Italy in the 1970s.
Executed in black terracotta, the bowl features Peretti’s distinctive organic Thumbprint form, with a matte black exterior and glossy glazed interior. The asymmetrical scalloped rim gives the piece its characteristic sculptural quality.
Signed on the underside Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co., Made in Italy.
