A matching pair of vintage Wedgwood blue jasperware 4.5-inch round pin dishes / small trays featuring prominent Judaica themes. Handcrafted in England, each dish is constructed from pale blue matte-finish unglazed stoneware (jasperware) with a raised white relief laurel leaf border framing the rim.
At the center of each dish is an embossed Magen David (Star of David) enclosing a central medallion inscribed with the word "Zion" (צִיּוֹן) in classical Hebrew script.
The reverse sides are impressed with standard Wedgwood factory backstamps: WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND along with impressed potting/inspector marks.
