Matching pair of vintage Hollywood Regency / French Empire-style basket wall sconces (often referred to as "sac à perles" or "balloon" style fixtures). The sconces feature an ornate, crown-like cast brass top piece with tiered strands of octagonal cut crystal beads cascading down to form a rounded, basket-shaped profile. The sconce on the left is turned around, revealing the flat, solid brass back plate designed for flush wall mounting and the internal wiring routing. The sconce on the right displays the fully assembled crystal basket facade and shows two standard candelabra-size light socket sleeves positioned inside. These fixtures are popular collectibles from the mid-20th century, highly valued for adding a glamorous, vintage touch to entryways, dining spaces, or bedrooms.
Each measures 16" x 9.75” wide at mid section x 6” depth
We have left the natural patina but these sconces can be polished to shine in their original state.
