This set includes an oversized pedestal punch bowl, magnificent engraved underplate, matching ladle, and 20 matching punch cups.

The 18-inch punch bowl is beautifully proportioned on a raised pedestal and surrounded by an elaborate border of clustered grapes, fruit, scrolling leaves and vines. Its coordinating 20-inch underplate is particularly striking, combining the same richly modeled grapevine border with elaborate floral and foliate engraving across the center.

Marked with Sheridan’s distinctive lion trademark, “Sheridan / Taunton Silversmiths Ltd. / E.P. Brass,” denoting silver electroplate over brass.

Although originally created as an elegant punch service, its extraordinary scale makes the bowl equally compelling as a grand dining-table or buffet centerpiece. Stunning filled with flowers, seasonal greenery or fruit, and equally dramatic as a champagne or wine cooler for entertaining.
