A striking original exhibition poster produced for Sabhan Adam's 2002 solo exhibition at Zara Gallery, Grand Hyatt Amman, Jordan.

Set against a deep red ground, the poster features one of the extraordinary figures that have become immediately associated with Adam's visual world. The monumental, deliberately distorted face is rendered in layers of red, black, and green, while an enigmatic green oval form partially obscures the figure.

Both human and fantastical, unsettling yet deeply melancholic, the image perfectly embodies Adam's highly distinctive approach to portraiture and the human figure.

The bold composition is completed by a black vertical panel bearing SABHAN ADAM in large red lettering, giving the poster a particularly strong graphic presence.

Most importantly, this example was personally signed and inscribed by Sabhan Adam in black felt-tip pen.

The handwritten dedication reads:

“Pour Mr Michel Paquier, à bientôt en Arnay-le-Duc”

followed by Adam's distinctive signature.

Both an evocative document from the artist's international career in the early 2000s and an unusual signed piece associated directly with the artist.

Personally signed and inscribed by the artist in black felt-tip pen.
