Count Thun's Porcelain Factory (originally located in Klösterle, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary; now Klášterec nad Ohří, Czech Republic). The Green Stamped Mark features a stylized crown situated between two shields, with the words "Vienna Austria" underneath. This mark was used exclusively by the New York porcelain importer P.H. Leonard between 1890 and 1908. He contracted with the Count Thun factory to decorate and import high-end porcelain. On the upper right, you can see the letters "TK" incised/impressed into the raw clay prior to firing. This stands for Thun-Klösterle, confirming the vessel blank was physically manufactured at Count Thun's Bohemian factory.The Other NumbersThe Incised "22" and "I" Marks: These are factory design, shape, or mold numbers used internally by the potters to track the specific vase shape and size before it was glazed and painted. Because the P.H. Leonard "Vienna Austria" import mark was discontinued following his business operations in 1908, this vase can be precisely dated to the late Victorian or Edwardian era (circa 1890–1908). It is a lovely example of turn-of-the-century European export porcelain tailored specifically for US market.
