Striking vintage tessellated fossil-stone table lamp dating to the 1980s. Designed in a dramatic obelisk form, the architectural body features dimensional geometric panels accented by warm salmon-toned marble inlays and a coordinating spherical stone finial. The varied natural coloration and fossilized markings give the lamp exceptional texture and visual depth.
Its sculptural silhouette reflects the luxurious Postmodern, Art Deco Revival and Hollywood Regency designs associated with Maitland-Smith and other fine Philippine decorative-art manufacturers of the period. An impressive statement lamp for a living room, entryway, library or sophisticated coastal interior.
