An elegant coordinating pair of vintage French Provincial side chairs featuring warm wood frames, beautifully preserved woven cane backs and newly reupholstered seats.
The tall, gently shaped backs showcase the original cane, which remains in excellent condition. Slender tapered legs and restrained carved details give the chairs the refined proportions associated with French Provincial furniture.
The seats have been newly upholstered in a sophisticated taupe-gray velvet-like fabric. Its soft neutral coloring provides an understated contemporary contrast against the warm vintage wood while allowing the original cane and frame design to remain the focus.
The chairs coordinate beautifully in design and share the same 38-inch overall height and 17-inch seat height. They vary slightly in overall dimensions, giving the pair the collected character often associated with vintage interiors.
