(Dalbergia odorifera), one of the most prized and rare timbers in Chinese
furniture-making, celebrated for its warm golden-brown hue, flowing grain,
and subtle natural fragrance.

The tray features a shallow, well-proportioned form with a raised carved rim
that frames a smooth, polished surface showcasing the wood's natural figure.
The sides display fine joinery and a gently contoured profile. Designed in
the tradition of Chinese scholar's desk trays (wenpan), it is equally suited
for tea ceremony use, as a decorative valet tray, or as an elegant surface
for displaying small objects.

Each piece is individually handcrafted, so grain pattern and tone may vary
