A stunning traditional solid cherry wood chest of drawers from the "American Craftsman Collection" by Stanley Furniture. This beautifully constructed piece serves as the top section of a classic two-piece highboy but features a fully finished, flat lower base moulding allowing it to sit seamlessly as a standalone low chest, dresser top, or flush accent console.
The chest boasts an impressive broken pediment (swan-neck) bonnet top accented by a central turned wood finial. The drawer fronts display an exquisite center fan/scallop shell deep relief carving on the top tier, complemented throughout by premium solid brass batwing backplate drawer pulls. All drawers are built with sturdy, traditional English dovetail joints and slide smoothly. The original maker's branded stamp is cleanly struck inside the upper drawer side.

The chest displays minor, typical surface scuffs/nicks to the side trim and bottom profile edges from moving, but it remains structurally rock-solid, incredibly heavy, and free of deep structural damage. All drawers feature English dovetail joints and glide smoothly. Stamped 0513-114 on the back panel. less
