A rare vintage porcelain plate made for the legendary Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, featuring the distinctive black-and-gold design associated with French fashion designer Sonia Rykiel. The front is boldly marked “LE CRILLON PARIS” in gilt lettering, framed by geometric black and gold bands. The reverse bears the GDA Limoges France factory mark together with a printed Sonia Rykiel signature. Produced by Gérard, Dufraisseix & Abbot in Limoges, this plate comes from one of the specially designed services used at the Hôtel de Crillon, one of Paris's most celebrated palace hotels. A wonderful piece for collectors of French hotelware, Limoges porcelain, Sonia Rykiel design, or distinctive Parisian tableware. Details:
