This authentic turn-of-the-century mustache cup was expertly crafted in Germany between 1891 and 1914. It features a beautifully molded internal mustache bridge designed to protect a gentleman’s styled mustache from rising steam and keep his mustache wax perfectly intact while drinking tea or coffee.The front of the cup is a true work of Victorian decorative art. It showcases a pristine white central scroll bearing the hand-gilded Gothic script inscription, "A Present." This presentation panel is dramatically framed by a heavy, textured, and encrusted bright-gold "sponged" border, layered over a multi-colored relief of sculpted 3D forget-me-not florals in soft lavender-blue and deep rose pink.
