Aglaé is an original etching realized by Gustave Joseph Biot d'aprés Cabanel (1900). The artwork is in good condition except for worn and yellowed paper on the margins. Mounted on a cream colored cardboard passepartout (24.5x35). Image Dimensions: 18x27 cm. Gustave Joseph Biot was a Belgian painter and engraver born in Brussels in 1833 and died in Antwerp in 1905, Biot was better known as portraitist and engraver. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
