Dating between 1900 and 1906, the image documents the corner of Canal and Carondelet Streets. The former Pickwick Club building became Leon Fellman’s department store in 1898, while the Feibleman & Co. Architectural façades, storefront signage, streetcars, pedestrians, and horse-drawn carriages record the activity of Canal Street during the early 20th century. The photograph is presented beneath glass in a rectangular frame. It is in good condition with visible chips on the wood frame and minimal wear from usage. Made in the USA. See less
