Japanese Meiji period cloisonne enamel vase with alternating medallions of a dragon and phoenix, circa 1900, with brass rim and base. Densely patterned walls with a smart color scheme of mauve and dark green dominate the colors and a subtle palette of tonal shades accents the whole pattern. Oddly Gothic at first glance. The measurements are 10" tall and 3.75" in diameter.
