Design Plus Gallery presents a set of four Mid-Century Modern Dining Chairs from American of Martinsville. Dating to approximately the 1960s, each chair has a tall, tapered wood backrest centered by three sculptural undulating splats. The gently angled rear supports transition into slender legs, while the upholstered seats are covered in a neutral striped textile with softly rounded front corners. These vintage chairs reflect the expressive woodwork and streamline forms associated with American furniture design of the period. They are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. The seats would benefit with new upholstery. Made in the USA.
