We are selling this fine and early Old Master engraving print. This print features a religious scene and is after Bernadino Passeri. The piece is signed in the plate, the engraving was executed by Hieronymus Wierix as plate 14 for Nadal’s Evangelicae Historiae Imagines. The page appears to be fully intact, no visible watermark on the laid paper. Engraving is very crisp and fine so is possibly a 1st edition circa 1593.
Condition: Good antique condition. Minimal staining, some browning and foxing to the paper. Margins might be slightly trimmed but appears to be a full sheet.
