The body, made of clear, mouth-blown glass, is entirely decorated with an elegant hand-engraved motif, featuring rich floral and plant motifs that harmoniously cover all surfaces. The high quality of the engraving, extremely fine and accurate, testifies to the skill of the craftsman who created it. The bottle features a base finished with a ground pontil, a typical feature of fine blown glass. The cap is embellished with an 800 silver frame, stamped with the silver fineness and the initials B·V., likely referring to the silversmith or the workshop that created it. Dimensions: Height 34 cm, Width 15 cm, Depth 9 cm. The condition is very good. The glass retains a brilliant transparency and the delicate engraving is perfectly legible. There are only very slight signs of wear consistent with the age of the item. Probably intended for serving fine spirits, cognac, or whiskey, today it is a refined collector's item and decorative object. See less
