Pair of Louis XVI style bergère armchairs in solid carved beechwood, likely a 20th-century reproduction in the Neoclassical style.
The raw beechwood frames have been sandblasted in our workshop, revealing the quality of the carving: tapered and fluted legs, scrolled armrests, carved rosettes at the corners of the seat rail, and horizontal ribbed friezes beneath the seat. The high backrest has a slightly flared rectangular profile. The frames have been reattached by our workshop. Overall, the chairs are in excellent condition after restoration.
The chairs are currently upholstered in a temporary white fabric, secured by a row of black upholstery tacks on all visible surfaces (backrest, sides, and seat): this is a "white" finish, ready for your choice of final fabric.
