Each piece is crafted from dark, decorative wood with a beautiful reddish-brown hue and striking natural grain.

The birds are depicted in various poses, with meticulously crafted details of their plumage, wings, tails, and heads. The top of each bird is a removable lid, beneath which lies a small, oval recess measuring approximately 5 × 3 cm.

The pieces serve both a practical and decorative purpose. Their shape and small size suggest they were intended for storing small items or as decorative table containers.
