A very fine example of a French Bureau Plat. Having a full marquetry panel to the top, consisting of various inlaid woods, all four sides have parquetry panels made from Ebony and Mahogany, the main desk is Satinwood having a drawer to the front. All the ormolu mounts are of high quality and large, also a sign of quality the brass edging around the top. Its a heavy piece always a sign of quality. It has been re French polished to a high standard and in overall excellent condition for the home.
