Over 4 weeks, I cleaned, stabilized, … Read more I rescued this armchair from the curb. It was badly parched and weather beaten.

Over 4 weeks, I cleaned, stabilized, sanded and stained the team frame black. The mid-century personality began to peak through.

Since the vinyl upholstery was badly stained, I painted a Mondrian-esq motif using chartreuse, eggplant, white blocks separated with the traditional black bars. Likewise the frame is black with brass leg caps.
