19th century faux painted chest of drawers from England.
This is a lovely hand decorated and beautifully proportioned gallery back Victorian chest of painted pine drawers circa 1850, featuring a shaped gallery and ends, all with hand decorated linework and faux wood pattern, on raised tapered bun feet. The chest has two over two drawer composition, and is finished with the original turned wooden handles. The top measures 31.13 inches in height without the gallery.
This is a lovely piece in a soft and beautiful color palette. Perfect for any room in which it is placed.
