The traditional baluster-form body is paired with a fitted domed lid and pointed gilt finial, creating a richly decorative profile associated with Thai ceramic design.

The surface is densely ornamented with repeating floral, geometric and traditional Thai motifs arranged across both the body and cover. The deep cobalt ground provides a strong contrast to the cream and polychrome enamel work, while the extensive gilding gives the decoration a jewel-like visual effect.
