Victor Louis XIV-style commodes, beautifully executed with richly figured veneers, elaborate bronze mounts and hardware, and substantial shaped marble tops. Designed in the grand French tradition, these impressive chests combine the opulence associated with the court of Louis XIV with the precision and quality expected from one of America's respected makers of high-end furniture.

Each commode features a gently bowed façade composed of three generous drawers, creating a graceful profile while providing substantial storage. The drawer fronts are particularly attractive, displaying carefully arranged veneers in warm shades of walnut, mahogany, amber, and deep brown. Contrasting banding frames the individual panels and emphasizes the richness and movement of the wood grain.

The lavish bronze hardware provides a magnificent counterpoint to the polished wood.
