A truly unique 1950s vintage telephone table with two matching nesting tables that slide neatly underneath and store within the piece when not in use.

The set features a rich mahogany veneer over the original hardwood plywood construction, with beautiful wood grain and classic 1950s styling. I carefully restored the finish using a Smoked Walnut paint wash, giving the piece a warm, sophisticated walnut-brown appearance while preserving its vintage character.

One of my favorite details is the original manufacturer’s stamp on the underside, adding to the history and authenticity of this set. The stamp identifies Carolina Panel Co. of Lexington, NC, and is dated April 6, 1950.

The two smaller tables are not simply separate end tables—they were designed to slide underneath the telephone table, making this a wonderfully functional piece for entertaining or small spaces.

• Nesting Tables: 13.5”W × 15”H each
