Featuring the signature faux-bamboo legs and aprons indicative of the iconic Allegro line aesthetic, this versatile table showcases a vibrant newly painted finish, just a shade more intense than the original butter yelllow hue, complemented by white detailing. The top is an easy to maintain white laminate. A simple-to-use mechanism utilizes sturdy metal glides and hardware to transition seamlessly from a 58" long oval silhouette to an elongated configuration 70" long with the addition of the matching 12" leaf. With removable legs, the table stores nicely in a closet or under a bed should room be at a premium. No maker's marks but our research indicates the model number stamped en verso of both the table and leaf, "853-22", is that of Thomasville.

Dimensions: overall, 58"w (w/o leaf) or 70"w (w/ 12" leaf) x 39.75d x 29.75"h (to top surface); 3.5" apron clearance from floor is approximately 25.25"; top at 29.75" from floor.

Very good vintage condition. The structural frame is sturdy and tight. Slight gaps are visible in the fitting of the leaf. The wood is freshly painted in yellow & white to return to its original aesthetic. The laminate top shows light, age-appropriate wear (faint scratches) consistent with a 50-year-old vintage piece.
