Antique folding chair, reminiscent of a country chair or director's chair, made of turned wood imitating bamboo (faux bamboo). The seat, backrest, and footrest are upholstered in strong, chocolate-brown canvas, stretched and secured with wooden loops. It features a classic X-shaped frame with exposed metal hinges and legs ending in small turned finials at the back. The folding mechanism is functional, typical of early to mid-20th-century boat/beach chairs or garden chairs.

The "Registered Design" stamp indicates that the design was registered by the manufacturer at the time—a sign of a small, commercially recognized French production.
