Add a masterclass of American art glass to your collection with this rare, authentic Orient & Flume studio vase. Designed and hand-blown in Chico, California, this exquisite exhibition-sized piece features the studio's highly celebrated "Hawthorn" pattern.
The vase showcases a radiant, honey-gold iridescent favrile background. It is meticulously decorated with deep, trailing dark-brown hawthorn tree trunks and branches that wrap elegantly around the organic form. Adorning the branches are brilliant clusters of white millefiori flower blossoms accented with deep cobalt blue centers, capturing a beautiful forest-in-bloom aesthetic. This heavy, lustrous glass piece reflects light beautifully, changing from a warm translucent amber to a fiery gold luster depending on the angle.
