Serving as a striking desktop curio, this piece features a heavy, freestanding base masterfully cast in the likeness of the Eiffel Tower, finished in a polished silver-tone metal. Both functional and highly decorative, it holds a substantial round magnififying lens perfect for inspecting documents or adding visual interest to a styled vignette. It stands at 9.5" high, 4" wide and 2.5" deep. It was made in the mid-20th century and has a good weighted balance base with minor surface wear consitent with age. I found this magnifying glass from a dealer here in the Treasure Valley. See less
