The cabinet features a distinctive glazed center door with decorative geometric and curvilinear wood tracery, flanked by narrow paneled sections. The upper case is finished with a stepped molded cornice and subtle architectural detailing. Below, a full-width drawer provides additional storage, while tall tapered and reeded legs joined by stretchers give the cabinet the light, graceful proportions associated with Federal and Hepplewhite Revival furniture.

Decorative details, including the restrained carved ornament, figured wood surfaces, circular motifs and slender legs, coordinate closely with the other pieces from the same dining suite.

Dating to approximately the 1920s, this cabinet is an attractive example of early 20th-century American Colonial/Federal Revival furniture and works beautifully as a china cabinet, display cabinet, bar cabinet or statement storage piece.
