The chair has a tall, gently reclining back, generously padded seat and arms, turned wood supports and legs, and brass caster details. Both the chair and ottoman retain their original olive/khaki striped velvet-style upholstery, giving the set a traditional English-country / tailored-library look.

The proportions are particularly comfortable, and the matching ottoman makes this a substantial reading or lounge chair rather than a small occasional chair. Henredon’s original upholstery and manufacturing labels remain attached underneath; the production label identifies the set as Chair & Ottoman – Natchez, H9903/9903-0.

The set is in good pre-owned condition with age-appropriate wear to the upholstery and wood. The fabric shows some variation in the nap and signs of use, visible in the photographs. It has not been reupholstered or refinished. Please review all photographs as part of the condition description.

A handsome, well-made Henredon set that would work beautifully in a library, study, living room or bedroom, either as-is or as an excellent candidate for future reupholstery.
