We are selling this great looking Regency style English box. This box is probably circa 1900, but may be period 1840s. Has Japanned style surface with gilt panel with landscape scenes with heavily craquel on the varnish. Box has sophisticated Sarcophagus form with exaggerated curves.
Condition: Antique condition with craquelure to the varnish. Surface wear and chips, one medium size chip on the underside of the lid.
