Models were produced with rosewood laminate and then the rarer genuine rosewood wood models as is this was. By Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller; this is an uncommon size and condition. We are experts at professional restoration and this table has been restored with not a blemish, scratch or repair to the top. It has been clear coated and what you see is the natural oil richness of the best rosewood to be found; even by Herman Miller standards, rosewood of this caliber is seldom seen. Finished with a specialist sealer and two part conversion varnish, this finish excels in durability, and is a semi-gloss. Signed to the underside and produced circa 1970. The edge is in excellent condition and the segmented aluminum base is excellent with almost no marks to be found. Tables like this, with this kind of quality rosewood are uncommon. Actual measures are 28.25" tall, 41 5/8" wide and 83 5/8 long for this racetrack table. For use as an office, conference or dining table. See less
