This is an original French magazine cover for Femina magazine that dates to 1935. Magazine cover art is highly susceptible to tears, rips, stains, folds, etc. and with the passage of time has become extremely difficult to find in A+ pristine condition. This image is in excellent condition! Is an original cover of a Spring edition of an haute couture French magazine, Femina, that had limited circulation and a limited audience. It was for the most chic fashion conscious women of the time. It showases a woman in a wide oversized bow design dress that features Art Deco styling. She is surrounded by a colorful floral motif touting the Femina magazine logo. Note the touches of her makeup and the detailing of her sparkling earrings, her pinky ring and her wonderful bracelet. She speaks to the season of springtime. The print is reamarkably clean . The white of the cover offsets the bright coloring. The print is in excellent condition. Signed by the illustrator in lower right. 9 ½ x 12 ½ inches. Comes affixed to acid free paper ready for matting/framing. See less
