The exhibition poster print is published by The Museo De Arte Moderno. Printed in 1979 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition in Chapultepec-Mexico City, D.F., February - March 1979, sponsored by The National Institute of Fine Arts, and The United States Embassy. It features an Abstract Expressionist artwork image originally created by Frankenthaler in 1969.

Helen Frankenthaler ( 1928 - 2011 ) is an American Abstract Expressionist painter of a liberal Jewish background, and is a major contributor to the history of Postwar Modernist Painting. She exhibited her work for over six decades, spanning several generations of Abstract painters while continuing to produce vital and ever changing new art works.

Her work has been the subject of several retrospective exhibitions including The Museum of Modern Art New York, The Whitney Museum, The Jewish Museum, and The Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She has been exhibited worldwide since the 1960's, and was awarded The National Medal of The Arts in 2001. Her artworks are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print framed Abstract Expressionist exhibition poster measures 21 3/4" W X 34 1/4" H X 1 3/8" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern variegated charcoal gray woodgrain style recessed detail matte finish metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
