Dates from the mid-20th century (1950s to 1970s).
Maybe mid-century Italian- made exactly like the painted Italian tole tables. On this version the metal is gilted gold.
The table itself IS a flower, a gilding lily, with layered floral leaves, and whose central piston comes up through the glass and is topped with a central decorative finial. It’s lavish and calm at the same time.
Base is covered with felt, typical of the time
