STYLE: The drawer fronts showcase highly prized "crotch" or "flame" mahogany veneers. These cuts create a dramatic, fiery, symmetrical grain pattern. The lower section features distinctive, heavy, convex S-curved drawer fronts—a signature design element of American Empire furniture. Brass bail pulls are cast in a decorative, openwork scroll-and-leaf pattern typical of early 19th-century hardware revivals.

The substantial, rectangular swiveling mirror sits framed by heavily carved rosettes at the corners and a fluted, architectural molding. It is supported by turned columns and crowned by a classical, gabled pediment.

The table stands on tall, slender, ring-turned legs that taper downward, transitioning into delicate, ringed spool feet.
