This is a vintage gilt metal wall-mounted (no hardware included) shelving unit featuring three metal mesh shelves and an integrated towel bar. Ornate scrolling ironwork gives the piece a wonderful Hollywood Regency and Italianate character, while the mesh shelves keep the design visually light and airy.
The antiqued gold finish has a beautifully aged, subtly crackled appearance with areas of darkening and patina that add to its vintage character. Decorative scrollwork continues along the sides and across the arched crest, making this an especially pretty piece from every angle.
Originally designed for a bathroom or powder room, the three shelves provide space for folded hand towels, toiletries, perfume bottles or decorative accessories, with the lower bar conveniently holding a hand towel. It would also be fabulous repurposed in a kitchen for spices and linens or filled with small plants in a sunroom.
A wonderfully decorative and functional vintage accent with plenty of old-school glamour.
