An elegant small Biedermeier display cabinet from the first half of the 19th century. Crafted from solid cherry wood. Good condition, ready for everyday use.
A three-quarter-height cherry wood body with a slightly projecting top panel and slanted corner pilasters, which end in tapered square feet. Behind the doors, made in frame-and-panel construction - two-thirds of which are glazed – there are two poplar shelves. Diamond-shaped brass key escutcheons complete the piece.

In good, ready-to-use condition following restoration, with slight age-related signs of wear and the original patina, including light stains and partial discolouration on the surface. The body and cracks in the side panels have been re-glued. The exterior surface has been cleaned and slightly refinished. The interior has been completely sanded and re-sealed. Base panel replaced. Key added.
