After I saw a photo of this painting, the owner delivered it to me and said, “I’m surprised you wanted something so big and bright.”

I responded, “It would look fabulous against a gray wall, where it would really add a pop of color to an otherwise dull room.”

She laughed and said, “That’s exactly where it hung—on a gray wall !”

But if you’re not afraid of color, you certainly don’t need a gray wall. This painting can hold its own in a colorful room, too. It’s big, bright and cheerful—the kind of painting that can wake up an entire room.
