Artisan-made in Italy, the matching columns have an impressive architectural presence and are ideal for displaying sculptures, busts, urns, plants or other decorative objects.
Each pedestal is constructed from dense cast resin, allowing the elaborate ornamentation to be modelled with exceptional depth and definition. The design is richly decorated with sculptural female faces, scrolling acanthus leaves, floral motifs and classical Baroque flourishes.
A deep black finish forms the background of the design, while contrasting gold-toned accents emphasize the raised decoration and architectural details. Each pedestal is completed with a dark marble-effect resin top, creating an elegant surface for displaying art or decorative objects.
Their tall proportions and matching design make the pair especially effective when placed symmetrically on either side of a fireplace, doorway, console table, mirror or architectural feature.
